China Auto Parts Exports Hit $9.73 Billion in June, Up 19% Year-on-Year: Industry Body

Data from the General Administration of Customs, compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), reveals that in June 2026, the export value of auto parts and components reached $9.73 billion. This represents a 12.2% increase from the previous month and a 19.0% rise compared to the same month last year.

For the first half of 2026, cumulative auto parts exports totaled $51.03 billion, marking a 7.6% year-on-year growth. On the import side, the value of auto parts brought into China in June 2026 stood at $1.49 billion. This figure declined by 18.0% month-on-month and was down 22.4% year-on-year.

In the January to June 2026 period, the total import value of auto parts reached $9.8 billion, reflecting a 4.3% decrease compared to the same period last year.
