ANJOY FOOD (02648) opened more than 8% higher following its earnings report. At the time of writing, the stock was up 8.19% to HK$89.8, with a turnover of HK$1.2544 million.

On April 28, ANJOY FOOD released its first-quarter 2026 results. The company reported revenue of approximately RMB 4.71 billion, a year-on-year increase of 30.84%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was about RMB 563 million, rising 42.74% compared to the same period last year. Basic earnings per share were RMB 1.7.

The company stated that the revenue growth was primarily driven by increased market demand, higher sales from its quick-frozen prepared foods and quick-frozen dish products, and incremental contributions from its subsidiary, Dingweita.

Analysis from Shenwan Hongyuan suggests that ANJOY FOOD's operational performance in the first quarter of 2026 exceeded expectations. The company has been continuously optimizing its new product development strategy, described as "closely following B-end trends and upgrading C-end offerings," to enhance product strength and quality-to-price ratio. On the channel side, it has restructured its custom business, providing differentiated solutions for various channels such as supermarkets, new retail, and restaurant chains. This has promoted flexible, small-batch, multi-frequency production, leading to an acceleration in revenue growth from the fourth quarter of 2025 through the first quarter of 2026.

In the medium to long term, the company plans to expand into the halal food sector through its "Anzhai" brand and is also targeting expansion opportunities in Southeast Asia. Competition in the餐饮 supply chain industry is believed to have bottomed out, and the company is seen as possessing long-term competitiveness.
