Topsports International Holdings has published its seventh Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report covering FY 2025/26 (1 March 2025–28 February 2026), detailing sustainability progress alongside key operating figures.
Financial and Operational Performance • Revenue reached RMB 25.74 billion, while net profit attributable to shareholders was RMB 1.27 billion with a dividend payout ratio of 137%. • More than 4,000 directly operated stores and a user base exceeding 90 million underpin the Group’s omni-channel model. • Over 85% of sales were generated from products produced by Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC)-certified brands.
Climate and Environmental Results • Absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse-gas emissions fell 16.11% year on year to 868 tonnes of CO₂-equivalent, aided by energy-saving measures that trimmed total energy use by 15.51%. • Water consumption contracted 33.37% to 8,842 m³; packaging-material usage declined 52.4%, with all stores now employing 100% biodegradable wood-pulp kraft shopping bags. • The Group completed its first climate-scenario analysis and confirmed a target to cut Scope 1-2 emissions 40.2% by FY 2034/35 from the FY 2024/25 baseline. • More than 70% of brand partners, or their parent groups, have set carbon-reduction goals; over 50% have pledged carbon neutrality by 2050.
Supply-Chain and Product Stewardship • Topsports works with 20+ global sportswear partners; over half now supply eco-friendly products. • 100% of suppliers have signed Integrity Commitment Letters. • Circularity initiatives collected nearly 3 tonnes of pre-owned footwear and apparel, avoiding c.10 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
Social Indicators • The workforce totals 22,376 employees, of whom 84.05% are women; women make up 53.04% of executives. • Staff hail from 31 ethnic groups, with ethnic-minority representation exceeding 5%. • Training coverage topped 95%, delivering roughly 700 programmes (online and offline). • No child-labour cases were recorded; four work-related injuries were reported with 4,239 lost days; no fatalities occurred.
Governance and Compliance • Topsports retained an MSCI ESG rating of ‘AA’. • All employees completed anti-fraud training; no corruption cases were recorded. • The Group obtained Data Management Capability Maturity Model (DCMM) Level 4 certification and maintains China’s MLPS Level 3 information-security status.
Community and Recognition • ESG-linked campaigns such as “Healing Energy: Circular Renewal” and “Trace to Renewal” reinforced environmental advocacy, while Top Esports supported marine conservation, animal welfare and cultural-heritage projects. • External accolades included “Most Honored Company” (Extel), Fortune China 500 listing and multiple employer-of-choice awards.
Topsports emphasises integration of ESG into corporate strategy, supported by board-level oversight and dedicated management structures. Continuous decarbonisation, supply-chain collaboration and workforce diversity remain central to its long-term value-creation roadmap.
