At the opening of the "Lenovo x Hai Xuan Future Youth Football Training Camp" in Dalian, Lenovo Group Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for China, Wang Chuandong, drew on Lenovo's experience empowering the 2026 FIFA World Cup and his personal insights to share three key messages with the young Chinese players in attendance.

His first point centered on opportunity. In his view, the World Cup stage demonstrates that with talent and the ability to seize chances, players can reach larger platforms. The young talents making their mark on the world stage serve as proof that the youth training on the field today have equally boundless possibilities for their futures.

The second theme was perseverance. "Every minute of the 90 minutes demands full commitment," Wang noted. Facing high temperatures, rain, and intense physical challenges, each match tests a player's stamina and mental strength. What truly drives a footballer forward is not just skill, but the resilience and persistence cultivated from a young age, bit by bit.

His third point highlighted the importance of professional knowledge and continuous learning. Professional competence is not achieved overnight; beyond passion and natural ability, young players must immerse themselves in structured training systems, gaining knowledge and sharpening their skills in every session and every game. At the same time, they should broaden their horizons, drawing inspiration from role models around them and idols they look up to.

Starting from a place of passion, young footballers aiming for bigger stages need not only favorable opportunities but also long-term dedication and the backing of a professional framework. The development of youth football is a gradual process that requires the joint involvement of professional coaching institutions, technology companies, and broader social forces.

"Young people represent the future of Chinese football. This is precisely Lenovo's intention in supporting youth football training camps—a pivotal step from supporting top-tier international events to empowering youth sports in China," Wang stated. He explained that Lenovo's collaboration with "Hai Xuan Future" is rooted in leveraging the program's professional youth training system to offer children more systematic football coaching, while also harnessing Lenovo's technological capabilities and resource advantages to explore deeper integration of AI and other innovative technologies with football training, academic learning, and youth development.
