JF SmartInvest Cuts Free Float with HK$1.41 Million On-Market Share Buyback

JF SmartInvest Holdings Ltd has reduced its outstanding share capital after repurchasing 51,000 ordinary shares on 5 October 2026 under its Hong Kong Stock Exchange mandate dated 18 June 2026.

The shares were acquired on-market at prices ranging from HK$27.32 to HK$27.84, producing a volume-weighted average cost of HK$27.68 per share and a total cash outlay of HK$1.41 million.

Following the transaction, shares in issue (excluding treasury stock) slipped 0.011% to 462.57 million, while the company’s treasury share balance rose to 5.79 million. Total issued shares remained unchanged at 468.36 million as the repurchased stock is being held in treasury.

Cumulative buybacks under the current mandate now stand at 1.72 million shares, equivalent to 0.37% of the 462.62 million shares outstanding when the mandate was approved. The company is still authorised to repurchase up to 46.41 million shares in total.

Under Hong Kong listing regulations, JF SmartInvest is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 4 November 2026. The board confirmed that all necessary approvals and regulatory requirements were satisfied for the latest repurchase.
