Precious Metals Close Higher Across the Board with Silver Leading Weekly Gains

In late New York trading on Friday, April 17th, spot silver rose by 3.27% to $80.9822 per ounce. For the week, it accumulated a gain of 6.74%, climbing consistently from $72.6369 to $83.0538.
COMEX silver futures increased by 3.09%, reaching $81.720 per ounce, with a weekly cumulative increase of 6.04%, trading within a range of $73.175 to $83.835.
COMEX copper futures advanced by 0.73% to $6.1435 per pound, marking a weekly gain of 3.65%.
Spot platinum rose by 0.93% to $2,113.23 per ounce, accumulating a 3.01% increase for the week.
Spot palladium increased by 0.72% to $1,565.90 per ounce, resulting in a weekly gain of 2.35%.
