Via Transportation Inc. (VIA) shares soared 5.14% in pre-market trading on Tuesday following the release of its first-quarter 2026 financial results, which exceeded analyst expectations and prompted the company to raise its full-year revenue outlook.

The public transit software provider reported quarterly adjusted losses of $0.05 per share, beating the consensus estimate of $0.06 loss by 16.67%. Revenue for the quarter rose 29% year-over-year to $127.434 million, surpassing analyst expectations of $123.386 million by 3.28%. The company's adjusted EBITDA margin improved significantly to -4.6% from -8.4% in the prior year period.

Management raised its full-year 2026 platform revenue guidance to a range of $547 million to $550 million, up from previous guidance, and reiterated its goal of achieving positive adjusted EBITDA in the fourth quarter of 2026. The company also reported a record pipeline of $650 million and highlighted four network deals awarded so far in 2026 worth more than $40 million in total annual contract value.
