A recent application scenario open matchmaking conference for Sichuan's state-owned enterprises and state-owned assets saw the release of the "Sichuan Provincial State-Owned Enterprises and State-Owned Assets Application Scenario Demand List." This list introduced 111 benchmark application scenarios in a single batch, opening the door for collaboration with enterprises, universities, and research institutes.

The 111 application scenarios span 20 key areas including comprehensive transportation, clean energy, mineral resources, the low-altitude economy, the digital economy, and artificial intelligence, with a total investment scale exceeding 12 billion yuan. These scenarios serve as a bridge connecting technology and industry, as well as research and development with the market, acting as a crucial platform for integrating technological and industrial innovation.

A representative from the Sichuan Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission described the released scenarios with three key characteristics. First, the enterprise types are comprehensive, covering provincial state-owned enterprises, central enterprises in Sichuan, and municipal state-owned enterprises, with a total of 94 enterprises opening up their scenarios. Second, the application fields are all-encompassing, covering 20 key areas across five major sectors, ensuring that scenarios are opened as fully as possible. Third, key projects are fully presented, with 34 scenarios undergoing on-site roadshows to showcase construction content, progress, and technological needs, thereby facilitating efficient supply-demand matching.

Sichuan Chengyu Expressway Co., Ltd. is leveraging its expressway network and road-related industrial resources to open up three core types of tech innovation validation scenarios: smart highway operations, green zero-carbon energy, and integrated industrial scenarios. General Manager You Zhiming noted that the Xinjin Lihuaxi Smart Low-Carbon Logistics Hub project serves as a large-scale validation platform, providing a full-element integrated validation environment for new technologies like low-carbon energy, smart management, green logistics, and multimodal transport. Service areas are also implementing a "service area + energy + culture + tourism + livelihood + industry" integrated business model, aiming to achieve "phone + ETC" contactless payments.

The diverse application scenarios attracted the attention of conference attendees. A representative from Sichuan Shudao Mining Group Co., Ltd. carefully reviewed the list, focusing on the "Intelligent Mining of Steeply Inclined Coal Seams" scenario released by Sichuan Coal Industry Group. This representative noted the scenario's high relevance to their business and planned to engage with it to explore new technologies, ideas, and opportunities.

34 key application scenarios were presented in live roadshows, covering areas like artificial intelligence and the digital economy, clean energy and green transformation, and high-end manufacturing and smart mining. Guo Fei, General Manager of the Platform Operations Department at Southwest United Equity Exchange Co., Ltd., was the first to present, introducing the "State-owned Enterprise Asset Full Lifecycle Management Platform" scenario. This scenario focuses on the core needs of state-owned enterprises for asset procurement, management, and disposal, creating a dedicated full-lifecycle trading and management platform. It aims to build a new ecosystem for state-owned asset transactions and management that is transparent, professional, and compliant. "For private enterprises and investors, this scenario eliminates information asymmetry, allowing everyone fair access to first-hand information on state-owned enterprise procurement and asset disposal, providing transparent and predictable market opportunities," Guo Fei said.

The "Clean Energy 'Source-Grid-Load-Storage' Global Collaborative Dispatch and Lean Operations" scenario presented by Sichuan Energy Development Group also garnered significant attention. This scenario aims to further enhance the overall operational efficiency of the energy system and the utilization level of clean energy. Specifically, in new energy power forecasting, it will integrate meteorological, hydrological, equipment operational, and historical production data to improve the accuracy of forecasting output from wind, solar, and hydro power. In collaborative dispatch, it will promote information sharing and resource coordination across the "source, grid, load, and storage" stages. In operations and maintenance management, technologies like IoT, AI, and digital twins will be used to enhance equipment condition sensing, fault prediction, and maintenance decision-making. In market operations, new models like virtual power plants, green electricity trading, and integrated energy services will be explored.

Attendees from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) West Zone Science Park recorded key details. "We currently have over 140 incubating enterprises in the park," a representative said. "The roadshow scenarios involving AI and high-end technology are well-suited to our park. I will share this information with the park's enterprises to seek more collaboration opportunities."

"The release is just the beginning," the representative from the provincial state-owned assets commission stated, adding that a regular mechanism for scenario collection, release, matchmaking, and evaluation will be established. The expectation is that more new technologies, products, and business models will take root and flourish within the application scenarios provided by Sichuan's state-owned enterprises and state-owned assets.
