ISDN Holdings Limited (I07) announced the launch of a next-generation High-speed Laser Marker for semiconductor chip packages through its 66.5%-owned subsidiary, IDI Dynamics.

The machine achieves up to 2.5 times faster marking speed while requiring 22% less cleanroom floor space than widely used industry configurations, resulting in a 3.2-fold increase in marking productivity per square foot based on internal benchmarking with representative OSAT strip formats and standard mark content.

Six units have already been deployed at Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly & Test (OSAT) facilities across Asia. The platform is supplied with a two-year software customisation and support programme covering factory automation integration, handling adaptation and evolving compliance coding.

ISDN said the system combines technology from a leading Singapore research institution with its two decades of semiconductor automation experience and aims to help chip manufacturers maximise output amid rising demand and cleanroom construction costs.
