Lygend Resources & Technology Co., Ltd. announced that all 12 production lines of the KPS project—Phase II of its Rotary Kiln-Electric Furnace (RKEF) project on Indonesia’s Obi Island—entered commercial operation in May 2026.

The KPS facilities add a designed 185,000 metal tons of ferronickel per annum to the group’s output. With Phase I already running, the Obi complex now delivers a combined large-scale capacity of about 400,000 metal tons of nickel per annum.

Management highlighted that full commissioning strengthens economies of scale, supports cost-reduction and efficiency initiatives, and is expected to enhance the company’s market share and overall industry influence.

The board advised shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when trading the company’s securities.
