On the afternoon of August 14, the Roewe Jiayue 07, hailed as the first AI-native vehicle developed in deep collaboration with Volcengine, made its global debut. Positioned as a new energy large five-seat SUV tailored for Chinese families, pre-orders officially commenced today.
The Jiayue 07 boasts a length of nearly 5 meters, a wheelbase close to 3 meters, and a width of approximately 2 meters, achieving an 88.8% space efficiency rate. It features a large standard trunk capacity of 834L, with an additional 81L of hidden storage space beneath the floor, totaling 915L across both layers. The vehicle offers 41 storage compartments throughout, and the front passenger seat is equipped with a vanity table that includes an independent makeup mirror, dual fill lights, and dedicated storage. Rear passengers benefit from a small table.
The Jiayue 07 is powered by SAIC's self-developed range-extender system, delivering a CLTC pure electric range of 320 km and a combined CLTC range of 1,480 km. The long-range extender achieves a maximum indicated thermal efficiency of 48.1%, with an oil-to-electricity conversion rate of 3.54 kWh/L. It supports fast charging from 30% to 80% in as little as 15 minutes. The 32.6 kWh version has a WLTC low-battery fuel consumption of just 4.97 L/100 km.
In a deep partnership with Momenta, the Jiayue 07 becomes the only SUV in the 150,000 yuan class equipped with the Momenta R7 World Model. It features a hardware-software integrated solution combining the latest Momenta R7 World Model and the Xinqi Hangtu XHEART X7 big model dedicated chip. This system can handle challenging urban driving scenarios in China, such as mixed traffic of people and vehicles near hospital entrances, complex roundabouts, six-way intersections, and narrow roads with stone piers. It also enables ultra-narrow vertical parking with a single-side clearance of just 20 cm, adapting to over 300 types of parking spaces.
Roewe, in collaboration with Midea, has developed a full-featured automotive refrigerator capable of rapid ice making—dubbed the "Ice King." It has a 7.5L capacity, precise temperature control ranging from -6°C to 50°C, and supports frost-free air cooling, PST+ plasma sterilization and deodorization, and AI reminder for forgotten items. It can produce ice in just 10 minutes with automatic one-button demolding. The front seats feature genuine NASA-standard dual zero-gravity seats, equipped with 4-way leg rests, 4-way lumbar support, 16-point SPA massage, heating, and ventilation. The rear seats offer a 143° recline angle, along with leg rests, heating, and ventilation. The vehicle includes a rear ceiling-mounted screen with 2.5K high definition and 800 nits brightness. An 18+2 speaker system delivers a 7.1.4.2 panoramic sound experience.
As the first AI-native vehicle from the deep collaboration between Roewe and Volcengine, the two parties jointly defined and developed it from the initial stages, resulting in the industry-first CPP AI-native technology architecture. The Jiayue 07 supports family accounts, long-term memory, and Face ID recognition. When different family members enter the vehicle, it can automatically adjust seat positions and other preferences based on individual identity. Features such as space, seats, refrigerator, screen, lighting, and other vehicle functions are seamlessly integrated and coordinated under unified AI scheduling.
