China Kepei adopts full electronic dissemination of corporate communications under HKEX paper-light regime

Bulletin Express
May 22

China Kepei Education Group Limited announced that, effective immediately, all future corporate communications—including annual and interim reports, financial statements, meeting notices, circulars and proxy forms—will be distributed exclusively in electronic form via the company’s website (www.chinakepei.com) and the HKEXnews platform (www.hkexnews.hk).

The move aligns with Rule 2.07 of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s expanded paperless listing framework that took effect on 31 December 2023. Registered shareholders are invited to provide functional email addresses—either by scanning a personalised QR code on the accompanying reply form or by emailing chinakepei.ecom@computershare.com.hk—to receive electronic notifications when new documents are published.

Key implementation points: • Shareholders who supply a valid email address will receive prompt electronic alerts for each new corporate communication. • Investors who do not provide a functional email address must independently monitor the company and HKEX websites for updates; they will, however, continue to receive printed copies of any “Actionable Corporate Communications,” as defined by HKEX rules. • Shareholders preferring hard copies may request printed versions free of charge. Such requests remain valid for one year from the date of submission and should be directed to Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited at 17M Floor, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, or via the above email address.

The notification, signed by Chairman Ye Nianqiao and dated 22 May 2026, underscores China Kepei’s commitment to environmental sustainability and regulatory compliance while enabling faster, cost-effective communication with its shareholder base.
