On the evening of August 12, Honor officially launched its robot phone at a new product event, marking the debut of this innovative device.
The Honor Robot Phone features an industry-first titanium alloy agile gimbal with a robotic-grade 4-degree-of-freedom range. The titanium alloy gimbal structure reduces overall size by 65%, while the gimbal motor weighs only 2.6g, which is 34% smaller than the joint motors used in embodied intelligence dexterous hands. The three-axis maximum control speed reaches 360° per second, enabling sensitive responses to high-dynamic scenarios. Honor's proprietary shield steel flip motor offers a torque density of 120 Nm/L. The entire gimbal mechanical system integrates over 100 precision components, applies more than 60 precise processes, and accumulates over 100 self-developed patents.
The Honor Robot Phone has a thickness of about 9.59mm and weighs only 248g. It is equipped with a 7060mAh next-generation Qinghai Lake battery and features a 6.31-inch large screen. Powered by the 5th Gen Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition mobile platform, it includes a four-microphone professional array and an AI-powered intelligent pointing algorithm. The device comes in two color options: Star Track Silver and Moon Shadow Gray.
At launch, the Honor Robot Phone introduces the YOYO Pro Mode. Additionally, Honor has collaborated with Alibaba's Qianwen Large Model to deeply co-create a terminal large model solution optimized for phone scenarios. The new YOYO auto-execution feature can complete over 100 complex tasks in a continuous sequence, enabling one-command handling of ultra-long tasks and cross-ecosystem one-command connectivity. Leveraging a multimodal embodied perception system, YOYO can understand gestures to "know what you mean," use anthropomorphic expressions to "know what you feel," and recognize music rhythms to "dance to the beat." Meanwhile, YOYO supports natural language interaction for innovative features like "You Say, It Shoots" and "YOYO Lucky Star."
The imaging agent has been fully upgraded, introducing features such as native camera inspiration-assisted shooting, Douyin AI live-streaming tracking, and WeChat video call tracking. A new open YOYO Skills Store allows developers and tech enthusiasts to call upon over 100 system capabilities, including gimbal control, multimodal calls, and camera functions, to create their own Skills.
Honor has conducted in-depth co-research with ARRI on image quality, color, camera movement, and professional workflows, enabling the Honor Robot Phone to deliver cinematic images directly and meet professional creative needs. For the first time, it supports the ARRI LogC3 curve and is equipped with a self-developed imaging chip, the Honor Yuguang H1. It supports 4K real-time portrait beautification, 4K 120fps high-frame-rate slow motion, and 4K low-light video. The phone also introduces ARRI Look to mobile imaging for the first time, featuring 11 built-in ARRI Looks. The three-axis mechanical stabilization gimbal is integrated into the phone, along with a 200-megapixel agile gimbal main camera co-tuned by Honor and ARRI, equipped with a 1/1.28-inch sensor, an f/1.6 aperture, and 200-megapixel high resolution, supporting up to 4x lossless zoom.
In terms of pricing, the 12GB RAM + 512GB ROM version is priced at 9,999 yuan, while the 16GB RAM + 1TB ROM version is priced at 12,999 yuan.
