DXP Enterprises' stock fell 5.88% in pre-market trading on Thursday, following the release of its first-quarter 2026 financial results.

The industrial distributor reported quarterly adjusted earnings per share of $1.26, missing the analyst consensus estimate of $1.41 by 10.64%. Quarterly sales came in at $521.658 million, which was 2.49% below the $535 million estimate. While sales grew 9.5% year-over-year, diluted EPS slipped to $1.22 from $1.25 in the prior year period.

The company also reported misses on other key metrics, with Q1 operating income of $42.474 million and net income of $19.978 million falling short of analyst expectations. The earnings disappointment appears to be the primary driver behind the stock's pre-market decline.
