Mongolian Mining Corporation (Mongolian Mining) disclosed in its Next Day Disclosure Return dated 13 July 2026 that it repurchased 1.05 million ordinary shares on-market the same day at prices ranging from HK$6.70 to HK$6.87, for a total consideration of HK$7.17 million.
Including this transaction, the company has bought back 12.35 million shares between 24 June and 13 July 2026 that are “repurchased for cancellation but not yet cancelled.” These accumulated repurchases represent 1.19 % of the company’s issued share capital outstanding on 21 May 2026, the date when shareholders approved the current buy-back mandate authorising the purchase of up to 103.42 million shares. Utilisation of the mandate now stands at roughly 11.94 %.
Based on the volume-weighted average prices disclosed for each trading day, the aggregate cash outlay for the 12.35 million shares repurchased amounts to about HK$82.19 million, implying an average cost of approximately HK$6.66 per share.
As of the close of 13 July 2026, Mongolian Mining’s issued share capital remains unchanged at 1.03 billion shares because the repurchased shares have not yet been cancelled. In accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 12 August 2026.
