U-PRESID CHINA (00220) rose more than 3% in Hong Kong trading. At the time of writing, the stock was up 2.97% to HK$7.98, with a turnover of HK$48.55 million. The company previously announced that its board meeting will be held on March 4 to approve, among other matters, the annual results for the period ending December 31, 2025, and to consider a potential dividend distribution. Daiwa had earlier noted increasing competition from makers of fresh and bottled beverages. Rising channel investment may put cost pressure on the beverage segment. China Merchants Securities (HK) commented that the company's current dividend yield of 6.5% is becoming more attractive, adding that it would upgrade its rating to "buy" if signs of stabilization emerge in the competitive landscape.
