Kunlun Energy Updates on Share Buy-back: 13.08 Million Shares Repurchased, 0.15 % of Share Capital

Kunlun Energy Company Limited disclosed in its Next Day Disclosure Return (15 May 2026) that it has repurchased a total of 13.08 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange between 25 March and 15 May 2026. The aggregate consideration paid amounts to approximately HKD 97.72 million, implying an average purchase price of about HKD 7.47 per share.

• Outstanding shares unchanged: The company’s issued share capital remained at 8.66 billion shares as of both 30 April and 15 May 2026. All repurchased shares are pending cancellation and therefore still form part of the issued share count at period-end.

• Latest daily transaction: On 15 May 2026, Kunlun Energy bought back 546,000 shares on the Exchange at prices ranging between HKD 7.39 and HKD 7.48, for a total consideration of HKD 4.06 million.

• Cumulative repurchases under current mandate: The 13.08 million shares acquired represent 0.151 % of the company’s share capital as at the date of the repurchase mandate (29 May 2025). The current mandate authorises repurchases of up to 865.88 million shares, leaving more than 98 % of the limit unutilised.

• Pricing range: Across the 18 repurchase transactions since 25 March 2026, volume-weighted average prices per share have ranged between HKD 7.36 and HKD 7.61.

• Moratorium on new issues: Following the latest buy-back, Kunlun Energy is restricted from issuing new shares or transferring any treasury shares on the Exchange until 15 June 2026, in accordance with Hong Kong listing rules.

The company confirms that all repurchases complied with the relevant Main Board Listing Rules and that no material changes have been made to the previously filed explanatory statement supporting the repurchase mandate.
