On February 13, 2026, Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. (02582) successfully won the bid for the 80K cold box procurement project at the Institute of Plasma Physics, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, valued at RMB3.20 million. The project focuses on critical cryogenic systems for a national-level fusion research platform, providing important engineering support for stable facility operations in line with the 15th Five-Year Plan of China.

The awarded project demonstrates an extension of the company’s core expertise in cryogenic heat exchange and cold box system engineering beyond the hydrogen energy sector, now reaching into nuclear fusion components and system integration. The new contract is expected to create added revenue opportunities while leveraging synergies between hydrogen energy and nuclear fusion technologies.
