On August 19, the first "Made in Xiong'an" satellite, the "Xiong'an-1" (Honghu-03), independently developed by Hongqing Technology, was successfully launched into orbit by the Zhuque-3 reusable carrier rocket Y2 at the Dongfeng Commercial Aerospace Innovation Pilot Zone.
As the first satellite manufactured in Xiong'an New Area, the successful orbital insertion of "Xiong'an-1" marks the full-loop closure of the aerospace information industry in Xiong'an—from research, development, and manufacturing to on-orbit application—and provides critical technical support for China's satellite internet transition from single-unit production to batch manufacturing.
