Latest Fuel Price Adjustment Update: 95 Octane Gasoline Expected to Fall Back into the 8 Yuan Range

The latest round of domestic refined oil price adjustments is set to take effect at midnight on October 15. As of October 10, 60% of the current pricing cycle has been completed, officially entering the countdown to the price change.

According to the latest forecast, gasoline and diesel prices are expected to be cut by 225 yuan per ton and 215 yuan per ton respectively. Converted to retail prices, 92 octane gasoline is projected to drop by 0.18 yuan per liter, 95 octane gasoline by 0.19 yuan per liter, and 0 diesel by 0.19 yuan per liter. The current estimated reduction exceeds 0.15 yuan per liter, making a downward adjustment highly likely this round.

Current national average fuel prices stand at 8.59 yuan per liter for 92 octane gasoline, 9.17 yuan per liter for 95 octane gasoline, and 8.27 yuan per liter for 0 diesel. At present, 95 octane gasoline has fully entered the 9 yuan era, while 0 diesel has firmly established itself in the 8 yuan range. If this price adjustment takes effect, 95 octane gasoline in many regions across the country will fall below 9 yuan and return to the 8 yuan range.
