ISDN Holdings Limited on Apr, 28 2026 published written responses to questions from shareholders ahead of its annual general meeting scheduled for Apr, 30 2026.

The Board said the group’s long-term ambition is to become a leading industrial automation partner in Asia, capturing demand from the structural shift of global supply chains into Southeast Asia. Rather than competing head-to-head with multinationals such as Siemens and ABB, ISDN focuses on mid-sized automation projects, multi-vendor solutions and regional execution across more than 60 sites in China, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Taiwan.

Growth will be pursued through organic expansion as well as small-scale mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances. The investment in NovaPeak Pte. Ltd., which has opened opportunities in drone-based inspection technology, was cited as an example of this approach.

In FY2025 the electronics and semiconductor segment generated about 32 % of industrial automation revenue, unchanged from FY2023 and FY2024. The company aims to balance exposure across six end-markets—electronics and semiconductor, industrial robotics and automation, machine tools, medical devices and production machinery, automotive, and food & beverage packaging—while tapping growth in cloud and artificial intelligence.

Management said Indonesian hydropower investments target internal rates of return above 20 %, with completed plants exceeding that threshold. Tariffs are denominated in rupiah under build-own-operate agreements and dollar-indexed under build-operate-transfer contracts; no foreign-exchange hedging is in place because plants can absorb realized currency swings.

The group maintains multiple subsidiaries to organise capabilities by geography and technology, incentivise management and ring-fence risks, and it continues to merge or close units deemed non-essential or under-performing.

ISDN also confirmed that it reviews the cost-effectiveness of its dual listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange but currently views the secondary listing as strategically valuable given its Chinese revenue base.

The Q&A was released as part of the company’s ongoing shareholder engagement ahead of the forthcoming AGM.
