The Liaocheng Municipal Market Supervision Administration in Shandong Province has announced the results of its 2025 municipal-level supervision and sampling inspection for wire and cable product quality. A total of 60 batches of wire and cable products from both production and circulation sectors were inspected.
The inspection was conducted according to standards including GB/T12706.1-2020, GB/T5023.3-2008, and JB/T8734.3-2016. Tests covered items such as product markings, insulation average thickness, insulation minimum thickness, sheath average thickness, sheath minimum thickness, insulation eccentricity, conductor resistance, mechanical properties of insulation before and after aging, insulation thermal weight loss test, insulation thermal shrinkage, insulation thermal extension, mechanical properties of sheath before and after aging, sheath thermal weight loss test, flexibility test, and single vertical flame test.
The inspection found that 3 batches of products from three manufacturers failed to meet the relevant standards. The non-compliant manufacturers are Shandong Luxi Kunlun Wire and Cable Co., Ltd., Shandong Jingxi Special Cable Co., Ltd., and Shandong Weihang Wire and Cable Co., Ltd. The specific failure points involved the rate of change in tensile strength of insulation before and after aging, elongation at break of insulation after aging, the rate of change in elongation at break of insulation before and after aging, average insulation thickness, and product markings.
For the producers of the non-compliant products identified in this inspection, the Liaocheng Municipal Market Supervision Administration has instructed the relevant market supervision departments to handle the results in accordance with the "Product Quality Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Interim Measures for the Administration of Product Quality Supervision and Sampling," and relevant regulations from the State Administration for Market Regulation.
A summary of the non-compliant products from the 2025 municipal wire and cable quality inspection is provided below, detailing the inspection area, product name, specific product name inspected, inspected company, production date or batch number, specifications, trademark, inspection result, non-compliant items, unified social credit code, report number, claimed production unit, and inspection agency.
A separate summary of the compliant products from the inspection is also available, listing the same details for products that passed the quality standards.
