Focusing on areas such as agricultural and forestry operations, low-altitude patrols, cultural tourism integration, and public governance, the region is implementing a "one scenario, one solution" approach, bringing diverse application scenarios closer to reality.

While vigorously cultivating low-altitude economic applications, Inner Mongolia's low-altitude economy has transitioned in recent years from relying on basic resource and spatial advantages to a phase of systematic, ecosystem-oriented industrial cultivation. By 2027, the entire region aims to cultivate 1 to 2 pilot zones for low-altitude airspace management reform, establish 33 general airports and 100 standardized temporary landing sites, attract and nurture 3 to 5 leading low-altitude economy companies and 30 R&D and manufacturing enterprises, and develop the Hohhot-Baotou-Ordos low-altitude economic development circle.

Simultaneously, Inner Mongolia is fully utilizing its advantage as a key node in the "East Data, West Computing" project, using computing power as an engine to accelerate the low-altitude economy's takeoff. The "Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Low-Altitude Economy High-Quality Development Implementation Plan (2025-2027)" explicitly proposes building an autonomous region-level intelligent flight information network for low-altitude operations. The "Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Plan for Promoting High-Quality Development of the Artificial Intelligence Industry (2025-2027)" specifies that by 2027, over 30 industry-specific large models will be formed in sectors including the low-altitude economy, targeting niche application scenarios.

Han Xinsheng, a special commentator for Inner Mongolia Radio and Associate Professor at Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics, believes that Inner Mongolia is using technological innovation as a guide to establish a complete innovation chain for the low-altitude economy, spanning from basic research and technical breakthroughs to pilot testing and industrialization. Han Xinsheng: The low-altitude economy, a new track that has been mentioned in the government work report for three consecutive years and officially elevated to a national "emerging pillar industry" in 2026, is entering our work and life at an unprecedented pace. All 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities nationwide have listed it as a key task, and over 20 provinces have issued specific policies. In this race to take off, what makes Inner Mongolia stand out? The answer is clear: technology is the core engine for Inner Mongolia to transform its "sky resources" into "development increments." In the past, when people mentioned Inner Mongolia's low-altitude economy, they typically thought of agricultural and forestry plant protection or power line patrols. But today, Inner Mongolia's low-altitude economy is transforming and upgrading from "buying and using aircraft" to "manufacturing and R&D of aircraft." It can be said that Inner Mongolia's low-altitude economy has formed a complete innovation chain from basic research and technical breakthroughs to pilot verification and industrialization. Combined with the empowerment of computing power and the implementation of "one scenario, one solution," Inner Mongolia's low-altitude economy not only possesses a smart brain but is also truly utilized, flying into the frontlines of production across various sectors.
