Asian chip stocks could come under downward pressure after news emerged that OpenAI's annualized revenue stands at roughly US$50 billion, according to people familiar with the matter.
Some media outlets reported last month that OpenAI's annualized revenue was expected to approach US$70 billion.
The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell 3.4% overnight.
