GUOQUAN (02517) saw its shares rise more than 8% during the morning trading session. At the time of writing, the stock was up 8.05%, trading at HK$4.16, with a turnover of HK$24.28 million. The company recently released its full-year 2025 results, reporting revenue of RMB 7.81 billion, a year-on-year increase of 20.7%. Net profit reached RMB 454 million, up 88.2% compared to the previous year. Core operating profit was RMB 461 million, representing a growth of 48.2%. By the end of 2025, the number of GUOQUAN stores reached 11,566, a net increase of 1,416 stores from 2024. Among these, stores in townships saw a net addition of 1,004, bringing the total to 3,010. Furthermore, over 3,000 stores were converted to 24-hour unmanned retail outlets. Zhongtai Securities noted that for 2026, GUOQUAN plans to deepen its community central kitchen strategy and continue expanding four store formats to cater to different consumption scenarios and demands. The company aims to increase its total store count to over 14,500, maintain high single-store sales growth, reduce the store closure rate by approximately 1 percentage point to below 4%, and grow its membership base to 95 million. It also targets core operating profit growth to outpace revenue growth. Given that the company exceeded its 2025 targets and with subsequent enhancements from AI and big data in store management, operational efficiency is expected to improve further. An increased proportion of self-produced supply chain products is also projected to contribute to profitability.
