Vertiv Holdings LLC (NYSE: VRT) shares opened sharply lower on Wednesday, with the stock plunging as much as 15% during the session before paring losses to trade more than 12% down at the time of writing.
The decline follows the company's release of its fiscal 2026 second-quarter results, which showed revenue of $3.274 billion, missing the consensus estimate of $3.377 billion. However, adjusted earnings per share came in at $1.52, beating the Wall Street forecast of $1.42.
Despite the revenue miss, Vertiv Holdings LLC (NYSE: VRT) raised its full-year guidance. The midpoint of its annual revenue outlook was lifted to $14.0 billion, representing a 1.8% increase from the previous forecast. The midpoint of its adjusted earnings per share guidance was also raised to $6.70, a 5.5% improvement.
