Prudential admits 5.73 million new shares to LSE trading

Prudential plc (PRU) announced the admission of 5,728,624 new ordinary shares of 5 pence each to trading on the London Stock Exchange Main Market during the period from Mar, 18 2026 to May, 14 2026.

The total comprises 6,720 shares issued on Mar, 18, Mar, 25 and May, 13 2026 following option exercises under the Prudential Sharesave Plan 2023, and 5,721,904 shares allotted on May, 13 2026 under the company’s scrip dividend alternative for the 2025 second interim dividend.

After these admissions, Prudential’s issued share capital on the exchange stands at 2,523,956,922 ordinary shares. The company confirmed the new shares are fully fungible with those already in issue.

Prudential also noted that, following the removal of UK Listing Rule 20.6, it will no longer file further block-listing applications for its international saving-related share option schemes.
