Ju Fu Tang Biotech Holdings Co., Ltd announced a leadership transition effective 17 August 2026. Independent non-executive director (INED) Liao Honghao, who had served since 2 March 2018, resigned citing personal commitments. His departure also ends his roles as chairman of the Nomination Committee and member of both the Remuneration and Audit Committees.
Concurrently, the Board appointed Wong Mei Yin Mian, aged 55, as an INED. Wong will assume the positions of chairlady of the Nomination Committee and member of the Remuneration and Audit Committees. With more than two decades in corporate governance, Wong holds an MBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a BA (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Glamorgan, U.K. She is a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and is a certified internal auditor.
Under a three-year appointment letter commencing 17 August 2026, Wong will receive an annual director’s fee of HK$0.12 million, subject to periodic review. Either party may terminate the agreement with a minimum one-month written notice. Wong holds no shares in the company, has no other roles within the Group, and meets the independence criteria set by GEM Listing Rule 5.09.
Post-change, Ju Fu Tang Biotech’s Board comprises executive directors Chen Jian and Yu Xiao, alongside INEDs Wong Chi Kan, Wong Mei Yin Mian and Lao In Iam.
