As summer fades and autumn arrives, the city has scheduled 60 job fairs for October to support employment for key groups such as college graduates and veterans, strengthen coordination between industry and employment, and stabilize and expand the capacity of job opportunities.

At the Taiyuan Human Resources Service Industrial Park, the Taiyuan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau will successively hold several autumn special job fairs for counties (cities and districts) under the "National City Alliance." On October 15, the 2026 Taiyuan Veterans Special Job Fair will be held. On October 31, a special recruitment event for the integrated development of Taiyuan's human resources service industry and manufacturing industry will be held. On October 17 and 21, autumn special recruitment events will be held respectively at Taiyuan University of Technology's Mingxiang Campus and Taiyuan Preschool Teachers College.

The Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone will hold special recruitment events titled "Smart Comprehensive Reform, Leading Transformation" at Shanxi Institute of Energy and Taiyuan University of Technology.

All counties (cities and districts) in the city have fully launched "Golden Autumn Recruitment Month" special job fairs. Among them, Yingze District will carry out distinctive special recruitment events in crowded areas such as commercial districts, streets, squares, subway stations, and part-time job demonstration stations. Xinghualing District will hold 10 consecutive "live-streamed job recruitment" sessions at the district's part-time job market during Golden Autumn Recruitment Month. Jiancaoping District has scheduled more than 10 special job fairs and will also bring recruitment positions and public employment services to graduates at Taiyuan Institute of Technology. Qingxu County will use special recruitment events to bridge the way for veterans' employment and entrepreneurship.
