Kunlun Energy Company Limited disclosed in its Next Day Disclosure Return that it repurchased 1.49 million ordinary shares on 6 July 2026 through on-exchange transactions at prices between HKD 6.50 and HKD 6.67 per share, for a total consideration of HKD 9.79 million. The volume-weighted average price for the day was approximately HKD 6.58 per share.
Including this latest transaction, the company has bought back 10.92 million shares between 16 June and 6 July 2026 that are “pending cancellation.” These shares represent about 0.13 % of Kunlun Energy’s issued share capital of 8.64 billion shares as of 6 July 2026. Despite the repurchases, the company’s issued share count remains unchanged at 8.64 billion shares until the cancellation process is completed.
The repurchases were executed under the general mandate granted by shareholders on 28 May 2026, which authorizes the company to buy back up to 865.88 million shares. Cumulative buybacks under this mandate now total 17.21 million shares, equivalent to 0.20 % of the company’s issued share capital on the date the mandate was approved.
Under Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, Kunlun Energy is restricted from issuing new shares or transferring treasury shares for 30 days following the 6 July transaction, setting the moratorium period through 6 August 2026.
