Shares of SMOORE INTL (06969) climbed more than 10% during Tuesday afternoon trading, before settling at a gain of 8.85% to HK$10.15, with turnover reaching HK$406 million. The rally followed the company's release of its interim results, which showed first-half revenue of RMB 7.209 billion, up 19.9% year-on-year, and a profit of RMB 572 million, representing a 16.2% increase.
Management highlighted that the company's ToB business performed strongly, driven by continued expansion in both electronic atomization and HNB operations. The ToB segment contributed approximately RMB 5.91 billion in revenue, reflecting a year-on-year growth of about 24.7%. Notably, revenue from the HNB business reached around RMB 962 million, surging by approximately 322.1% compared to the prior-year period, primarily attributed to product shipments to a key customer that began in the second half of last year.
During the reporting period, the group continued to support its customers in extending HNB products into more global markets. Viewing HNB as a long-term growth opportunity, the group remains committed to fostering the sustainable development of this business segment and unlocking its full growth potential.
