Shangri-La Asia Limited announced that it anticipates consolidated profit attributable to owners before non-operating items (Operating PATMI) of not less than 87 million Singapore dollars for the six months ended Jun, 30 2026, at least 70% higher than the 51 million Singapore dollars recorded a year earlier.
The company said foreign-exchange gains contributed roughly 15 million Singapore dollars to the improvement. Stripping out currency effects, Operating PATMI would be at least 81 million Singapore dollars, representing growth of no less than 35% from the prior-year period’s 60 million Singapore dollars.
Management attributed the earnings increase to stronger revenue per available room, improved operational efficiency and lower interest expenses resulting from active treasury management.
Shangri-La Asia is finalising its interim results, which have yet to be reviewed by its auditor and Audit & Risk Committee. The firm plans to publish the figures by the end of Aug, 2026 and advised investors to exercise caution when dealing in its securities.
