Tanwan Repurchases 260,800 Shares, Boosting Treasury Stock to 15.03 Million

Tanwan Inc. disclosed that on 21 July 2026 it bought back 260,800 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, paying between HKD 10.92 and HKD 11.22 per share. The volume-weighted average price was approximately HKD 11.15, bringing the total consideration to HKD 2.91 million.

The repurchase equates to 0.05 % of Tanwan’s 519.67 million issued shares (excluding treasury shares) outstanding before the transaction. Post-buyback, the number of issued shares outstanding fell to 519.41 million, while treasury shares increased to 15.03 million. The company’s total issued share count remains unchanged at 534.44 million.

The operation was conducted under the mandate approved on 17 June 2026, which authorises Tanwan to repurchase up to 52.12 million shares. Including the latest transaction, the company has repurchased 1.82 million shares, or 0.35 % of the issued share capital on the mandate date, leaving authority to buy back a further 50.31 million shares.

In line with Main Board Rule 10.06(3)(a), Tanwan is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares for 30 days following the repurchase, setting a moratorium period that expires on 20 August 2026.

The board confirmed that the repurchase complied with all applicable listing rules, regulations and authorisations.
