Viatris Inc. shares tumbled 5.04% in intraday trading on Thursday, reversing earlier pre-market gains as investors focused on the company's full-year revenue outlook, which came in slightly below Wall Street expectations despite a strong second-quarter earnings beat.

The healthcare company reported Q2 adjusted EPS of $0.69, comfortably surpassing the consensus estimate of $0.60, while revenue rose 5% to $3.76 billion, also beating the $3.68 billion analyst forecast. However, Viatris issued fiscal 2026 revenue guidance of $14.55 billion to $14.95 billion, with the midpoint of $14.75 billion falling short of the IBES consensus estimate of $14.78 billion and the FactSet estimate of $14.79 billion. The company also flagged an anticipated $100 million to $150 million revenue headwind in the second half of 2026 from supply disruptions at its Nashik facility.

Adding to investor concerns, Viatris posted a GAAP net loss of $118.8 million for the quarter, driven by a non-cash charge related to the planned sale of Tyrvaya product rights. While the company raised its adjusted full-year profit guidance to $2.45-$2.59 per share, exceeding the $2.44 consensus, the tepid revenue outlook and ongoing operational challenges appeared to overshadow the earnings beat, triggering the sharp intraday sell-off.
