Zhongsheng Group Cancels USD117.91 Million of 5.98% 2028 Bonds; 80.3% Still Outstanding

On 6 August 2026, Zhongsheng Group Holdings Limited (stock code: 00881) reported a partial open-market repurchase of its U.S.$600 million 5.98% bonds due January 2028.

The company bought back and has already cancelled U.S.$117.91 million of principal, equivalent to 19.70% of the bonds originally issued. After cancellation, the outstanding principal falls to U.S.$482.09 million, representing 80.30% of the initial amount.

In line with Rule 37.48(a) of the Hong Kong Listing Rules, Zhongsheng Group will release further announcements each time cumulative redemptions and/or cancellations reach additional 5% increments of the original issue size.

Management emphasised that any future buybacks will be undertaken at the company’s sole discretion, with no commitment on timing, scale, or pricing. Bondholders and prospective investors are advised to act prudently.
