China Boton Group Company Limited repurchased 2.02 million ordinary shares on 07 July 2026 through on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, paying an aggregate HKD 5.53 million. The shares were bought at prices ranging from HKD 2.63 to HKD 2.78, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 2.74 per share.
Following the transaction, the company’s outstanding share count declined from 1,073.27 million to 1,071.26 million shares, while treasury shares rose to 9.26 million. Total issued shares remained unchanged at 1,080.51 million.
The repurchase represents 0.19% of China Boton’s issued shares (excluding treasury shares) prior to the transaction and falls under the mandate approved by shareholders on 22 May 2026, which permits buybacks of up to 108.05 million shares. Cumulative buybacks under this mandate now stand at 2.02 million shares, or 0.19% of the share capital authorisation.
Under Hong Kong listing rules, China Boton is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares, lasting through 06 August 2026.
