PATEO Shares Surge Over 9% in Morning Session Following Appointment of European Business Head

PATEO (02889) rose more than 9% in morning trading. As of the time of writing, the stock was up 8.69% to HK$178.8, with a turnover of HK$76.3865 million. On May 14, the company announced that Stefan Ortmanns, a seasoned expert in conversational AI, has officially joined as the head of European operations, taking full responsibility for PATEO's strategic layout and business expansion in the European market. Last September, Porsche announced a deep collaboration with PATEO to jointly develop a new generation of in-vehicle infotainment systems specifically for the Chinese market, which will be installed in multiple Porsche models by 2026. Additionally, PATEO's CTO Zhang Jie recently stated that the AI Box serves as both the AI computing hub for the vehicle cockpit and the core carrier for multi-agent unified scheduling. PATEO recently announced a deep partnership with NVIDIA to develop an in-vehicle large model solution based on the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor accelerated computing platform. By deploying the AI BOX on this platform, the collaboration aims to provide high-performance computing support for the in-vehicle deployment of next-generation AI large models.
