Li Auto Inc. filed a Next Day Disclosure Return with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 7 July 2026, confirming a repurchase of 1,150,634 Class A WVR ordinary shares on 6 July 2026 via the Nasdaq Global Select Market. The shares were bought at prices between USD 5.84 and USD 5.99, resulting in a volume-weighted average cost of USD 5.93 per share and an aggregate consideration of USD 6.82 million.
Prior to the transaction, Li Auto had 1.74 billion issued shares (excluding treasury shares) and 66.98 million treasury shares. Following the buyback, the number of issued shares outstanding fell by 0.07 % to 1.74 billion, while treasury shares increased to 68.14 million. The total issued share count remained unchanged at 1.81 billion, as the repurchased shares were retained in treasury.
The purchase forms part of the repurchase mandate approved on 29 May 2026, which authorises Li Auto to buy back up to 214.28 million shares. Including the latest transaction, the company has repurchased 48.54 million shares, representing 2.27 % of the shares in issue at the time the mandate was granted. A 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury share disposals is in effect until 5 August 2026, in line with Hong Kong Listing Rules.
