Qianjin Capital's Q1 2026 Public Fund Rating Report Released

Deep News
May 08

Public funds serve as crucial indirect investment vehicles for various capital to participate in financial markets. As trust assets, the preservation and appreciation of fund products represent the common expectation of fund investors. Adherence to legal regulations and fund agreements constitutes two rigid constraints for fund operations. Based on risk-return characteristics, Qianjin Capital classifies funds into ten categories: monetary, pure bond, primary bond, secondary bond, hybrid, equity, closed-end, index, fund of funds (FOF), and QDII.

The Qianjin Fund Comprehensive Evaluation System assesses the overall management capabilities of fund products and management teams across nine dimensions: profitability, risk resilience, performance stability, stock selection ability, timing ability, fund selection capability, benchmark tracking ability, excess return potential, and overall costs. Funds violating regulations, deviating from fund contracts, or otherwise ineligible for evaluation are excluded from ratings.

According to Q1 2026 ratings from Qianjin Capital's Fund Evaluation Center, 9,266 public fund products met the rating tenure requirement and received evaluations, marking an increase of 192 from the previous quarter. A total of 950 funds achieved five-star ratings this quarter. Breakdown by fund type shows 29 monetary five-star funds, 202 pure bond five-star funds, 32 primary bond five-star funds, 49 secondary bond five-star funds, 391 hybrid five-star funds, 48 equity five-star funds, 7 closed-end five-star funds, 143 index five-star funds, 18 QDII five-star funds, and 31 FOF five-star funds.
