CapitaLand Ascendas REIT Issues 896,826 New Units to Settle Acquisition Fee

CapitaLand Ascendas REIT (A17U) said on Apr, 22 2026 that it has issued 896,826 new units to its manager, CapitaLand Ascendas REIT Management Limited, as payment of the acquisition fee related to the purchase of a 50.0% stake in the Ascent property in Singapore completed on Mar, 23 2026.

The units were issued at 2.5646 Singapore dollars apiece, reflecting the volume-weighted average price over the ten trading days up to Apr, 22 2026, and represent a total consideration of roughly 2.30 million Singapore dollars. Under the trust deed and local regulations, the manager must hold the new units for at least one year before any sale.

Following the issuance, CapitaLand Ascendas REIT’s total outstanding units increased to about 4.862 billion, of which the manager now owns approximately 3.79 million units, or 0.0780% of the total.
