A recent industry report has shed light on the most popular AI tools in the Chinese workplace, with three major assistants taking the top spots.
According to the "2026 H1 AI Industry Insight White Paper" released by the professional networking platform Maimai, Doubao, Tongyi Qianwen, and Kimi have secured the top three positions in the workplace assistant category. In the embodied intelligence sector, Unitree Robotics, Zhiyuan Robotics, and UBTECH lead the rankings.
The white paper is based on an analysis of over 500,000 AI-related discussions on Maimai, offering a comprehensive overview of AI product popularity, trending topics, and shifts in the workplace. It presents rankings across multiple domains, including office assistants, AI coding tools, general-purpose large models, AIGC, embodied intelligence, and autonomous driving.
The report declares 2026 as the "Year of the Agent," noting that discussions among professionals have evolved from comparing technical parameters to evaluating real-world performance. Key applications such as code generation, proposal writing, task decomposition, meeting summarization, job description analysis, and multi-agent collaboration are now the primary ways AI integrates into daily work.
The ability to use AI is rapidly transforming from a personal advantage into a fundamental job requirement. Consequently, companies are shifting their evaluation criteria for AI solutions, placing greater emphasis on how well these tools integrate into business processes, execute tasks reliably, and contribute to the creation of reusable skills and workflows, rather than focusing solely on model parameters or response quality.
