The Zhoujiaqiao Subdistrict recently held its "Life Along the Suhe River, Enjoying Life in Zhouqiao 鈥?026 Zhoujiaqiao Subdistrict 'Respect for the Elderly Month' Themed Event" at the community cultural activity center.
The event brought together a convenience market, achievement displays, artistic performances, and service experiences, delivering heartwarming care packages to elderly residents right at their doorsteps.
Inside the multimedia theater, lights came on as the Zhoujiaqiao Subdistrict elderly care service map was illuminated on site, and six doorstep elderly care service stations were officially inaugurated.
In recent years, the subdistrict has continuously filled gaps in elderly care services, iteratively upgraded elderly care service infrastructure, and established diversified convenience hubs including doorstep elderly care service stations and "property management plus elderly care" service stations, building a "15-minute community elderly care service life circle" that makes comprehensive, embedded, and convenient elderly care service resources easily accessible and precisely delivered.
At the same time, the subdistrict uses the "Laifuhui" elderly care service alliance as a bond to continuously deepen its brand essence, attracting elderly care enterprises, property management companies, and other diverse entities to build a resource-sharing, complementary, and collaborative elderly care service platform, activating new momentum for grassroots elderly care.
At the event, seven "Laifuhui" elderly care service alliance member units and four cognitive impairment friendly cooperation units were officially inaugurated, and the 2026 Zhoujiaqiao Subdistrict "Respect for the Elderly Month" activity list was simultaneously released.
This "Respect for the Elderly Month" themed event also served as a performance stage for community cultural teams. During the artistic performance segment, cultural teams from the subdistrict including the fashion team, dance team, and choir took turns on stage, showcasing the silver-haired elegance of finding joy and purpose in later life through song and dance.
Outside on the first floor of the center, a caring elderly care convenience market bustled with activity. Community health doctors patiently conducted consultations, while residents lined up at stalls for small appliance repairs, clock and watch repairs, and haircuts. Assistive device rental experiences, medical accompaniment services, electrocardiogram screenings, eye screenings, and public oral health education were all available. Staff also provided policy promotion and answers on elderly care policies, one-stop government services, elderly care consumption vouchers, and the Citizen Cloud platform, allowing elderly residents to enjoy convenience right at their doorsteps.
Additionally, on the second floor of the center, elderly care service project experiences were offered simultaneously, featuring two premium courses: a non-pharmacological intervention handicraft for cognitive impairment 鈥?decoupage table lamps 鈥?and a public hearing screening for seniors along with an autumn heartwarming handicraft session. By combining educational outreach with hands-on experiences, these activities enriched the spiritual and cultural lives of elderly residents.
From a single map to a bustling market, from a stage performance to an experiential class, Zhoujiaqiao Subdistrict continues to deliver quality services to the side of elderly residents.
