BYD officially launched the Qin Max on the afternoon of August 17, offering both EV and DM-i powertrain versions with a starting price range of 99,900 yuan to 143,900 yuan.

The Qin Max is available in six standard exterior colors: Cloud Pink, Star Moon Purple, Forest Green, Twilight Silver, Danxia Orange, and Soft Snow White, along with three two-tone body options. Inside, the cabin comes in Light Sand Gray and Dawn Purple. As a standard B-class sedan, it measures 4,866 mm in length, 1,880 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. The vehicle offers 27 storage compartments, including a 115-liter front trunk and a 523-liter rear trunk (557 liters for the DM-i version).

Equipped with cloud-like comfort seats, the front seats provide 10-point massage, ventilation, and heating functions. A powerful 240 kW electric motor delivers a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 5.9 seconds. The Qin Max features BYD's second-generation Blade Battery and flash charging technology, providing a pure electric range of up to 630 km. BYD is rapidly expanding its flash charging network, which now includes 7,018 stations across 325 cities, covering both daily commutes and long-distance travel.

The suspension system comprises a front double-ball-joint MacPherson strut and a rear five-link independent setup, complemented by the Cloud Chassis-C intelligent damping control system and the TBC high-speed tire blowout stability system, ensuring agility, stability, and safety. The Qin Max can be equipped with the optional God's Eye B driver-assistance package featuring lidar, while God's Eye 5.0 enhances its end-to-end capabilities with reinforcement learning. Following the intelligent parking safety guarantee, BYD has also taken the lead in promising a safety guarantee for city navigation driving.

BYD's AI super intelligent agent, "Didi Xia," powers the DiLink AI smart cockpit, offering three core capabilities: engaging conversation, efficient task execution, and versatile interaction. It responds to basic commands and understands colloquial, fragmented expressions, supporting fuzzy searches for movies and music. In addition to the EV version, the Qin Max DM-i has also been launched, featuring a pure electric range of 320 km, a combined maximum range of 2,370 km, and a NEDC fuel consumption of just 2.59 liters per 100 km when the battery is depleted.

The Qin Max has officially announced actress Zhang Jingyi as its brand ambassador, aiming to further connect with younger consumers. Additionally, the Qin Max has launched a cross-industry collaboration with the electrolyte brand Dongli, promoting the concept of "dual replenishment for both car and driver." The Qin Max is now arriving at dealerships, and customers can visit BYD offline stores for a test drive experience.
