Xiaomi Adds 25,000 New Class B Shares for Incentives, Buys Back 1.80 Million Shares on 5 August

Xiaomi Corporation (WVR structure) filed a Next Day Disclosure Return covering capital movements up to 5 August 2026. Key points are as follows:

1. Small-scale share issuance • On 4 and 5 August, the company issued a total of 25,000 Class B shares under its employee share scheme (18,000 shares at HKD 2.49 and 7,000 shares at HKD 1.88). • Class B shares outstanding rose marginally from 21.398 billion to 21.399 billion, an increase of 0.00012%.

2. Ongoing share repurchases • On 5 August, Xiaomi repurchased 1.804 million Class B shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 27.62 to HKD 27.80, spending HKD 49.98 million. • All repurchased shares are earmarked for cancellation, triggering a 30-day moratorium on new share issues until 4 September 2026.

3. Cumulative activity under current mandate • Since the 2 June 2026 authorisation, Xiaomi has repurchased 94.52 million shares, representing 0.37% of the shares outstanding on the mandate date. • The mandate still allows for up to 2.58 billion shares to be repurchased.

4. Shares pending cancellation • Following the latest buyback, 94.52 million Class B shares remain in the queue for cancellation, acquired at prices between HKD 21.46 and HKD 28.72.

5. Capital structure snapshot • As at 3 August 2026, Xiaomi had 25.84 billion issued shares, comprising 4.44 billion Class A and 21.40 billion Class B shares. The minor share issuance and ongoing buybacks do not materially alter Xiaomi’s capital base in the near term.
