Cortina Holdings Limited announced on Jul, 24 2026 that its founder and current Executive Chairman, Lim Keen Ban, will retire from the board on Dec, 31 2026. In recognition of his decades-long leadership, he will be conferred the honorary title of Emeritus Chairman with effect from Jan, 01 2027.

The board has also approved the elevation of Group Chief Executive Officer Lim Jit Ming Raymond to Executive Chairman from Jan, 01 2027. He will simultaneously continue in his existing role as Group CEO, assuming dual responsibilities.

Cortina highlighted that it will retain a Lead Independent Director, with independent directors forming the majority of the board and fully comprising the nominating, remuneration and audit committees, thereby maintaining compliance with the 2018 Code of Corporate Governance.

Lim Keen Ban led Cortina’s listing on the Singapore Exchange on Jul, 29 2002 and oversaw the company’s expansion into Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Thailand and Australia.
