Wells Fargo Appoints Tom Nicholls to Lead Sports Investment Banking Division

Wells Fargo has recruited Tom Nicholls from PJT Partners to serve as its head of sports investment banking.

According to sources familiar with the matter, Nicholls will be responsible for overseeing Wells Fargo's sports investment banking operations.

Public records show that Tom Nicholls previously served as a Managing Director in the Strategic Advisory business at PJT Partners, where he provided mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets advisory services to clients in the sports, gaming, media, and entertainment sectors.

His past involvement in sports-related transactions includes advising on Sixth Street's investment in Major League Baseball's San Francisco Giants.
