Wilmar Unit Secures US$1.5 Billion Syndicated Loan Mandate

Singapore-based agribusiness group Wilmar International Limited said on Mar, 31 2026 that its wholly owned subsidiary, Wii Pte. Ltd., has signed a mandate letter for a fully underwritten syndicated loan facility of US$1,500 million with a greenshoe option.

Bank of China Limited Singapore Branch, DBS Bank Ltd., The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited Singapore Branch, Maybank Securities Pte. Ltd. and its affiliates, Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited and United Overseas Bank Limited will act as mandated lead arrangers and bookrunners.

The financing package consists of a 5-year revolving credit facility of US$1,200 million and a 5-year term loan of US$300 million. Proceeds will be used to refinance existing debt and to fund general corporate and working-capital needs across Wilmar and its subsidiaries.

Signing of full documentation is expected in due course.
