The fintech company reported a non-GAAP net income per ADS of RMB7.70 (US$1.12) for Q1 2026, beating the lone analyst forecast of RMB6.39. Total net revenue came in at RMB3.91 billion, also surpassing the estimated RMB2.90 billion. The company highlighted rapid growth in its fintech output business, with its Qifu Shuke segment seeing business increase by approximately 700% year-over-year.
Concurrently, the company provided its outlook for the second quarter of 2026, projecting net income between RMB830 million and RMB910 million, and non-GAAP net income between RMB900 million and RMB980 million. The positive earnings surprise and forward guidance appear to be the primary drivers behind the significant share price appreciation.
