New data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange reveals a significant custody movement for MEGAIN Holdings (06939) on July 16. The total value of shares held in custody reached HK$212 million, representing 20% of the company's total. A major shareholder of the company deposited 146 million shares with ICBC International Securities, resulting in a 38.56% increase in their proportional holding.
In a separate corporate announcement, MEGAIN Holdings confirmed the allotment and issuance of 104 million new shares. This issuance was completed on July 16, 2026, pursuant to subscription agreements dated January 8 and January 23, 2026, and was executed under the special authorization approved at an extraordinary general meeting held on June 29, 2026.
