Huaqin Technology's stock surged 5.03% during intraday trading on Tuesday, driven by the company's robust first-quarter financial performance and a supportive dividend announcement.
The company reported Q1 revenue of RMB 40.746 billion, representing a 16.42% year-over-year increase, while net profit attributable to shareholders rose 25.96% to RMB 1.061 billion. Although adjusted net profit growth was more modest, operating cash flow showed significant improvement, turning positive at RMB 576 million compared to a negative figure in the prior-year period.
Further supporting the stock price was the company's proposed final dividend of RMB 12 per 10 shares, pending shareholder approval. This combination of solid earnings, improved cash flow, and shareholder returns helped fuel the stock's recovery after earlier market concerns over rising expenses.
